Direct Relief: Filling a Critical Need in Cambodia’s Cities

In Cambodia’s capital of Phnom Penh, one in five people live in an informal settlement and lack access to basic resources. To promote healthy pregnancies and babies, Kirk Humanitarian provides United Nations International Multiple Micronutrient Antenatal Preparation Multiple Micronutrient Supplements (UNIMMAP MMS) to Direct Relief and the Sihanouk Hospital Center of Hope, reaching more than 24,000 pregnant women in Phnom Penh, Battambang, and Kampot through Sihanouk’s expertly-run facilities.

Sihanouk Hospital Center of Hope is a tertiary hospital working to support more than 4,000 patients annually, free of charge. They serve a diverse range of populations and address many needs – Kirk Humanitarian’s MMS produced in partnership with CPC fill a critical need for prenatal supplements in the community.
